Why You Should Never Use Coffee Pods
One of the biggest scams of modern life
Whenever I see a coffee pod machine, I internally cringe. If I am ever forced to use one, it is with a noticeable frown on my face. There are only a couple of legitimate uses for a coffee pod. One is a waiting room setting in which you do not want a bunch of sweaty strangers sharing an open pot of coffee. Another is for people who drink one (yes, one) cup of coffee per day and have chosen to make it at home via coffee pod rather than buying it from a chain on the way to work. That is it.
No respectable or responsible person should have a coffee pod machine at home for personal use. Why? Because it is stupid. Coffee pods represent one of the most widespread scams in the modern world. Don’t believe me? The numbers bear this assertion out, and they aren’t even hard to put together.
Coffee pods are a waste of money, a waste of our beautiful planet, and a waste of time and no one should ever use them except as a method of last resort. (Break me in case of a coffee emergency.)
