The biggest problem with past, current and future Catholicism is idolatry. Exodus says not to make any graven image to serve. Catholics love images. They love saints. They love special days. They love stained glass and beautiful churches. The large cathedrals have gift shops with, you guessed it, images everywhere for you to buy and worship at home.

Why pray to saints who are dead and can't hear you? Because they're idols. I'd be more on board with Catholicism if it wasn't steeped in the making, worshipping and pruning of idols.
