Emperor Constantine is one of the most important figures from history. He gave his name to one of the most important cities in the world in Constantinople. Constantine is famous for decriminalizing Christianity in the Roman Empire and propelling Rome from a pagan power to a Christian one. He even pioneered the famous symbol of the Chi Rho which became a staple for centuries in Europe.
All of that greatness and weight was only possible because of a single battle. If Constantine had lost the battle that won him the imperial throne then we might not recognize the world today. History would have been completely different.
And there was a good chance that Constantine could have lost this battle.
