I agree, if our gods were created by human thinking they shouldn't be worshipped. That is the idea that most atheists and or agnostics cling to. I believe that there are gods that were not created by humans and are different and higher than humans. Those beings are deserving of worship. (Indeed early Judaism was not monotheistic in that they believe only in one god but that their god was superior to all of the other gods and that their god would ultimately win out which he largely did over the course of history.)
