Poland was not a huge priority for the Soviets during Bagration. They were focused on Byelorussia mostly and their gains in the south. The Soviets eventually "liberate" Warsaw in January of 1945. And by liberate, they annexed it into their new Eastern Bloc.

I don't know if the Red Army purposefully avoided Poland, I just don't think it was a huge priority. The Polish people suffered under Nazi occupation and Soviet occupation throughout the entirety of the war and neither side treated Poland well.
