NASA Sent Music Into Space For Aliens To Find — Here Is Their Playlist
Listen to it here!
There is no sound in space, but if aliens find humanity’s Voyager probes sailing out in the silent void, they can treat themselves to some sultry tunes from planet Earth. NASA attached a golden record to each of the two Voyager probes that are currently hurtling through space away from Earth. Voyager is the farthest manmade creation currently from the Earth. Since each probe carries an identical record etched with a playlist that doubles the chances of extraterrestrial life finding one of these bops.
Alien Record Player?
How will aliens know that these golden discs contain amazing music? We told them. Each record is engraved with instructions on how to play it. Of course, an advanced alien civilization should be able to conjure up a record player to play these discs.
“Computer, create alien listening device. Grooved disc. Designed by apes.”
Brrzzt
Ding!
Done.
There is no way to know if aliens would be able to figure out how to get the sounds off of these discs, but if they do, they will be in for a real treat.
