Another year here, another year gone. Merry Christmas to all of my readers. I hope this week is filled with joy, gratitude, and a nod to the divine. My whole family is coming to Florida for the first time since we all went our separate ways back in 2012, so we are extremely excited to have a subtropical Noel. It is also the first year that my son understands what Christmas is and knows that he will be receiving some boss gifts.

For those of you who have holiday blues or seasonal depression, I hope you find some small solace in your own way. As I get older, I recognize that many people have a lot of mixed feelings about the holidays. Try your best to power through and know that we are praying for you!

For those of you who are stress cases during this time of year, know that the holiday season is almost over and I’m sure you did a great job. But make sure you take a day to slow down and enjoy the fruits and efforts of your labor.

Thank God for the birth of his Son, Jesus Christ, who humbled himself as a man so that he could right all of the wrongs in the universe. Jesus’s birth, eventual death, and resurrection as a man are the only things that will bring us all back into the presence and grace of God. That is the best gift anyone could ever give or receive.
