I think Matthew came before the Didache, but probably not much earlier. I think they both probably borrowed from Q. Unfortunately, without finding Q we'll never really know for sure. The way the Didache is written it definitely seems to take from Matthew, or both sources were working from a direct source close to Jesus - possibly Q. Good insight. Thanks for reading.
