ChatGPT is America’s new favorite toy, and like many people, I have been toying around with its capabilities. I have been wracking my brain thinking of interesting things that ChatGPT can do that are actually useful. Because let us be honest, most of the stuff that ChatGPT spits out is hot garbage. It's novel. It's fun. But is it actually useful? No.

At least I haven’t tasked the AI with destroying humanity like some unscrupulous people. Instead, I decided to put the AI to work that might actually help someone. I asked ChatGPT to generate 100 unique affirmations. And strangely enough, the AI got weirdly spiritual. I thought AI was incapable of engaging in religious conversations and yet some of these responses speak toward a higher power.

Here is what the AI came up with when I tasked it with giving me some uplifting affirmations, including some interesting responses in bold.

  • All responses generated by ChatGPT are technically the property of OpenAI. I do not claim that the responses are my own.
  1. I am capable of achieving my goals.
  2. I trust in my ability to make the right decisions.
