Help, everyone wants my money. Every day I spend online comes with a barrage of advertisements for new streaming services. Some of them, like Netflix, are familiar. Others, like Fubo TV, are not. But they all have one thing in common. They want to pillage my wallet. And I’ve tried to tell them I have traditional cable that I am very happy with but they just don’t listen.

It got me thinking. How much would it actually cost to subscribe to every major streaming service? And would that be worth it?

Top ten

I sourced the top then most popular streaming services for the purposes of this list. I did not include live TV services like Sling or Fubo. These only include the standard library-style streaming services.

I picked the base cost for each one and put the cost per year in parentheses. There are often better, more expensive, plans available for almost all of these services with the biggest drawback being the inclusion of advertisements at the base price.

  • Disney+: $7.99 ($79.99)
  • Paramount+: $4.99 ($49.99)
  • HBO MAX: $14.99 ($149.99)
  • Hulu: $6.99 ($69.99)
