How Far Into The Past Could You Go And Still Get By?

Time travel sounds good in theory, but in practice, it would be hell

The idea of time traveling has been a source of fascination for many people for generations. Many people have dreamed about the idea of jumping into the past to experience what life was like hundreds of years ago. The idea sounds good, and it makes for a great movie or book plot, but in practice, it would be incredibly difficult. For example, if you traveled back to Ancient Egypt, you would have no connections, no ability to communicate, and would likely be consigned as an invalid or killed out of superstition. That sounds a lot less fun than many people make it out to be.

This conundrum raises an interesting question. How far back into the past could you travel and still be able to survive and live a fairly regular life? If you go too far into the past, you won’t be able to communicate, and therefore, you likely won’t be able to survive for long in a foreign and potentially hostile world.
