Here Is How You Can Cheat During a Fishing Tournament and Win
Another cheating scandal making headlines
Where there is a will, there is a way. And lately, there has been a will to cheat and multiple ways of cheating. A new and novel way to cheat has emerged in the wake of a strange cheating scandal rocking the chess world. This time, the cheaters are fishermen, and the cheated are fellow tournament participants.
Two men, Jacob Runyan and Chase Cominsky were initially crowned the winners of Lake Erie Walleye Trail’s fishing tournament. Their fish were the heaviest of the lot. At first, nothing seemed amiss. Then some sore anglers who thought their fish were larger, and should therefore be heavier, raised a question about cheating.
But how do you cheat at fishing? You either haul up a fish, or you don’t. Right?
The complaints were loud enough to warrant a quick decision by the tournament director, who decided to cut open all of the winning fish to look for incongruities. Then all hell broke loose.
