Fair. I should have contextualized with most Americans. Americans do not get exposed to barrage balloons as much as the British do. They were not used on American soil as much as they were in Europe and there is a lot of misconceptions about them due to a lack of context over here. I have learned through many people’s excellent comments that barrage balloons are much more well known in Britain than here in the USA. Thanks for the read.
