Do you believe in giants? When presented with this question, most people immediately respond with a resounding no. No, of course not. Giants are a myth. Giants aren’t real. Giants are from fairy tales. But is that actually true?

What is interesting about giants is that there is actually quite a lot of evidence that points to the fact that they could have existed at one point. Giants are present in nearly every culture, and there is archeological evidence to support their existence. If giants existed it would have been in the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age and could have died out, like Neandertals. Yet despite the evidence, very few people consider giants a topic worth discussing or thinking about.

Why is that?

It is an interesting question with no easy answer. Surely, giants have long been connected to mythology and legend but not everything in legend is an outright falsehood. There is actually more evidence for the existence of giants than you think which makes it all the weirder that there aren’t giant adherents like there are Big Foot or Extraterrestrial Life adherents.
