Clearly you haven't traveled much. Jesus is largely depicted in the race of the region that the church is in. Jesus is not depicted as white everywhere. But yes, in the white dominated areas of Europe where the Catholic Church had the most sway he was depicted as the locals would want to see him. That is nothing new. Renaissance painters were white. So were Medieval church officials. That is not some groundbreaking discovery.

Go to Asia, South America and Africa and you don't see as many depictions of a white Jesus.

Honestly, this kind of work is trite and inflammatory for no reason.
