Anything can technically be used to commit a war crime. Do I think logistic units are instrumental in facilitating war crimes? No. Not really.

Sappers did destroy homes and monuments and such but usually the destruction had a military purpose. Other than the Germans on the Eastern Front and the Japanese in some instances did logistics units commit atrocities for the sake of committing atrocities.
